The Institute of Directors (IoD) North West has entered a new partnership with All Work & Social – the operators of the co-working space at XYZ.
This follows the organisation’s move to the Spinningfields site in October from its base on Marble Street in Manchester’s former financial and professional district.
In 2019, the partnership will use the offices as a place to host a programme of events helping business leaders in the city as they network and grow.
IoD NW regional director Claire Ebrey said: “As businesses across the region conclude another working year – and prepare to enter 2019 with some trepidation as a result of the political and economic implications of BREXIT – we are delighted to announce this exciting new partnership.
“This open and inclusive base will give Manchester a new business hub.
“It will be home to many events during 2019 which will help leaders as they navigate their way through a changing commercial world; it will help them extend their network, meet likeminded people and mentors, and learn more about operating in the current climate.
“It will simply be a brilliant place to do business.”
Reflecting on the move to what has now become Manchester’s new financial and professional core, Claire continued: “I am also thrilled that we have been able to join Spinningfields’ growing professional community.
“It is the perfect place for us as we look to expand our network and bring more people in to our brilliant organisation in Manchester – and across the North West as a whole.
“XYZ in particular is an environment of enthusiastic start-ups within the co-working space, many of whom will benefit from our IoD 99 membership.”
A programme of events within the space will kick off in 2019 and will be open to business leaders from around the city.
The partnership with All Work & Social means that XYZ members will also be able to attend the events as part of their complimentary hot-desking perks.
